The Challenge
FixItFast is a handyman and property-services business based in Oliva, working across the Costa Blanca: repairs, electrics, plumbing, roller shutters, home improvements. Its main towns are Oliva, Gandia, Dénia, Xàbia and Cullera, with Calp, Altea and Albir covered for larger jobs.
The business had an English-only WordPress site. The region is full of foreign owners, and the client serves two very different audiences: people who need something fixed at home, and owners and agencies who need someone to look after a property while nobody lives in it. The new site had to speak to both, in English, Spanish and Russian - without losing what the old site had already earned in search.
Two Audiences, Two Paths
The site splits right after the home page.
Home services is for the homeowner with a problem. It lists what the business does and publishes its prices: from €40 for the first hour including the visit, then €33 an hour. Clients know what a job will roughly cost before they call.
Property services is for owners and agencies. It sells property-care plans with scheduled visits, photo reports and priority repairs, starting from €49 a month.
A projects page shows the work: 29 photos of finished jobs, including before-and-after pairs, opened in a full-screen gallery. The home page adds real Google reviews, quoted word for word.
From Visit to Request
Every page has a sticky bar with the main action: a WhatsApp chat that opens with a message already written in the visitor’s language. For those who prefer to describe the job in detail, the contact page has a free quote form.
The form sends leads to the Yatoday platform, which records them and forwards each one to the business by email. It is protected against spam on four levels - a hidden field bots fill in, a minimum time to fill the form, a cooldown between submissions and a required consent checkbox - and the server checks the same signals again, with rate limits per visitor and per business.
A Map of the Service Area
The contact section shows where the business works on an interactive OpenStreetMap map. The areas are drawn from real administrative boundaries: the main area and the extended one in different styles. The boundaries are simplified once, when the data is prepared, so the browser loads a few kilobytes of outlines instead of the full source geometry.
Search: Keep What Worked, Add What Was Missing
- The addresses of the old WordPress pages redirect with a 301 to their new equivalents, so no link is lost and search history carries over to the new site.
- Pages mark the business up as a local business with schema.org
HomeAndConstructionBusiness: address, coordinates, opening hours, the towns it serves (including their alternative spellings), languages, services and price range. Review stars are deliberately left out of the markup, because Google’s rules don’t allow self-published ratings. - FAQ markup on the home page and FAQs on both service pages.
- Three languages linked with hreflang, with the English and Spanish pages tuned for the searches the business targets.
- For AI assistants:
llms.txt and llms-full.txt are rebuilt from the finished pages on every build.
Fast by Construction
The pages are static HTML with the CSS inlined, so the first screen renders without waiting for extra files. Fonts are served as separate files: embedded into the stylesheet, they had grown it from about 118 KB to 1.1 MB.

Result
The business moved from a single-language WordPress site to a fast static one in three languages, without breaking the old links. Prices, services, projects and reviews are all on the site, and every page leads to either a quote request or a WhatsApp message. There is no server or CMS for the client to maintain - leads arrive by email.
